Czechs begin exhumation of notorious mass grave site

Archaeologists in Prague have begun exhuming bodies of three army officers executed by Czechoslovakia’s communist regime in 1949. Activists hope the excavations at Prague’s Ďáblice cemetery will ultimately shed light on the whereabouts of the remains of others, including the Czechoslovak paratroopers who assassinated Reinhard Heydrich in 1942.
